Overview

The Abu Dhabi Healthcare Information Security Programme (AAMEN) is an initiative by the Department of Health Abu Dhabi to ensure the emirate’s healthcare sector adheres to robust information security and data privacy standards. The programme includes the Abu Dhabi Healthcare Information and Cyber Security Strategy, which outlines the sector's approach to mitigating cyber threats, with areas of focus such as cybersecurity governance, resilience, capabilities, partnerships, maturity, and innovation. A key component of AAMEN is the ADHICS V2 standard, which establishes the minimum cybersecurity requirements for healthcare facilities.
