Overview
The Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) is the Australian Department of Defence's security framework that aligns with the Australian Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). It provides a principles-based approach to managing protective security risks through governance, security principles, expected outcomes, and controls that help protect Defence personnel, information, assets, and operations. The framework promotes risk-informed decision-making, accountability, and a strong security culture across the Defence enterprise.
